The Reverend Donald Michael Fisher died July 21, 2014 at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. The cause of death was cancer. You can express your condolences to his family by signing Fr. Don’s online guest book here.
Father Don was born on May 1, 1938 in Marquette, MI. He left the Capuchin Order returning to secular life in his early 30’s, married and had children. Retiring from a successful career in human resources at Federal Express, Father Don afterwards became received as a priest in the Episcopal Church.
Father Don is survived by his two children, Mark Francis Fisher and Maureen Kathryn Fisher; their mother, his ex-wife, Mary Kay Fisher; his older brother Robert James Fisher, Sr. of Denver, CO; and his younger sister Patricia Jensen of Milwaukee, WI.
Services will be held at St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church in San Francisco on August 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. All are welcome. A private interment ceremony will take place at Grace Cathedral.
