Spirit Village is a child-centric and play-based spiritual circle. We gather together in a “tent” to sing, hear a story based on lectionary readings, pray, and share communion. Children are invited to use their senses to explore their emerging faith, wonder, discover the art of religious language, and share experiences of God in community. The service is recommended for children under 10 and supports individuals on the Autism spectrum and those with special needs.
The service was developed and is nurtured by a team of St. Cyprian’s members and clergy led by our Church Divinity School of the Pacific seminarian Hannah Cornthwaite. Music facilitated by Grace Renaud. Spirit Village happens every Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
